Safety at Home, HW assignment.


 Preventing Fatal Home accidents.
 
Watch this video and answer the following questions on a separate sheet of paper. If you type this on a computer you get an extra 5 points. (This is posted on the blog with links to the video). This assignment will be due on Thursday, January 30th.

11-   List at least three actions to reduce risk of poisoning.

13-   List three actions to reduce the risk of fires at home.
14-   Why is it important to have an escape plan and a meeting spot?
15-   What are some tips for reducing risks of choking while swallowing?
16-   What are some objects that small children can grab and choke themselves around the house? What should we do with such objects?
17-   Name two important safety recommendations for water safety.
18-   Why do they recommend toilet safety locks?
19-   Based on what you've learn, what can you do at your home to improve safety?
